| Q : | 正式に依頼をする前に、提案などして頂けるのでしょうか？ |

| A : | 初回の打合せ時に、簡単なお話や土地を見させて頂いた上で、設計依頼を検討して頂くためのプレゼンテーションを作成致します。 簡単な図面と模型等をご提案する為に１ヶ月〜２ヶ月程度お時間をいただきます。その後、契約となった場合は、特に費用は発生しません。 契約に至らなかった場合は、プレゼンテーション作成費として５万円を申し受けます。 |

| A : | 私たちは、設計料も含めた金額を予算内に収まるように、賢く建築を造ります。 高い材料を使って良い建築をつくるということではなく、デザイン面、コスト面、ランニングコスト面等において満足して頂けるモノを提案したいと考えています。 |
| Q : | 遠方からの依頼することは可能でしょうか？ |

| A : | 場所は日本国内、海外問わず受け付けております。遠隔地の場合、設計監理料とは別途交通費実費を申し受けます。 |
| Q : | How do I get in touch if I have an inquiry? |

| A : | Simply call us or send us an email. English is fine. If you are able to visit our office, we are more than happy to discuss our job process and approach to design. We may be able to visit some clients depending on location. |
| Q : | Can we have a consultation even if we haven’t purchased our land yet? |

| A : | Definitely. We are able to survey the land and offer advice before you purchase. This can include advising what is possible on the site, budgeting, and other important aspects involved in building. |
| Q : | Do we need to prepare anything before coming to see you? |

| A : | In general, no. However, if you have any related land or building documents please bring them along. |
| Q : | Are we able to receive a proposal before signing a contract? |

| A : | After the first meeting where we will briefly discuss the project and inspect the building site, we will prepare a presentation so you can consider working with us. This will be presented at the second meeting with a simple blueprint and model, which typically takes 1-2 months to complete. No costs will be involved if you decide to work with us at this point. However, if you decide to pass on working with us, we will require 80,000 yen to cover presentation costs. |
| Q : | Can you work with our budget? |

| A : | Most definitely. We will prepare the best proposal to achieve your goals within your budget. |
| Q : | How much are design fees? |

| A : | Typically, about 7~12% of building costs. Please note that a separate structural calculation fee will apply if you require structural calculation. This generally works out to be about 20~25% of design costs. A separate quote may be required depending on scale and purpose of building. |
| Q : | Architect offices have a reputation for being really expensive. Is it true? |

| A : | Our office does everything in our power to keep costs including design costs within your budget. We don’t simply focus on building good structures with expensive materials, we strive to provide total customer satisfaction based on design, budget, and running costs, etc. |
| Q : | Are we able to work with you even if we are overseas? |

| A : | We work with customers in Japan and abroad. Please note that separate travel expenses will apply for onsite design supervision requiring long-distance travel. |
